Our user-friendly Form I-9 allows your Employee to engage with a preparer and/or translator to complete Section 1.
Once the profile and upload of the citizenship document has been completed, the system will ask the Employee, Was this form completed with the assistance of a preparer or translator?.
If the Employee selects Yes, the Form I-9 will open up fields for the preparer/translator to provide their information:
Once the preparer/translator completes their information, they will be asked to sign and attest that they have assisted in the completion of Section 1 and that, to the best of their knowledge, the information is true and correct:
The workflow will then prompt the Employee to complete Section 1 with their signature to complete the process. Once completed, the preparer/translator information will map onto the PDF version of the Form I-9:
